Life has taken me away from the keyboard for awhile, but I'm finding my way back! I haven't had much energy left lately. My Little Butterfly takes it all. That's what I called my daughter during her stay in Intensive Care. She was a preemie and always swaddled up in her blanket, like a cocoon. She blossomed quickly and became a favorite among the staff with her funny faces and bright smile. Her personality is BIG! We are grateful for the wonderful care she received and recently braved the hot sun to attend the yearly reunion for family and staff. It was held at The Museum of Life and Science in Durham, NC. I was melting in the outdoor tent setting and sought refuge in one of my favorite places, the Magic Wings Butterfly House. The exotic flowers and mist from the sprinklers make it a tropical rainforest paradise. It was heavenly when the butterflies surrounded us. Anyone who knows me should be able to tell you that when two of them landed on my butterfly's carriage, I was super ecstatic. I felt a sense of renewal and rebirth while I was there, much like the life of a butterfly. It gave me the zeal to start talking about the Kindle Version of my book, The Divorcée Chronicles. You can probably guess what is on the cover. Take a look. I hope to talk to you more in the coming weeks, but for now....back to looking through butterfly pictures!
