A Diva's Heart: Diva Extraordinaire: Victoria Christopher Murray

I love books, but even more, I love the people behind the books. As an author who supports other authors, I am happy to see this same support coming from authors at the top of the game. Brown Girls Books co-founders, ReShonda Tate Billingsley and Victoria Christopher Murray, are not just my publishers, they are the epitome of gracefully supporting others, while still doing their own thing. In addition to publishing others, they teach their strategies and share their spotlight gracefully. Today, I am shining the light on Victoria.

One of my dreams as a writer, like many others, is to see my words come to life on television and in movie theaters. I am so proud of Victoria for recently inking a deal to bring her Seven Deadly Sins series of novels to Lifetime television. All seven books have been optioned and the first three, Lust, Envy and Greed, are already slated for 2019 and will be produced by one of my favorites, the awesome and anointed Bishop T.D. Jakes. His sermons and books got me through some tough times and I always dreamed of him producing my movie, so I am super delighted to see them teaming up and I am very much looking forward to the series premiere.
